College, distance education is any course where instructors teach students
by methods other than the traditional (regular) classroom
environment. There are many different kinds of distance education:
In these courses, the teacher is not
standing in front of the class like in a traditional classroom.
Instead, the teacher may be at home or in a different city. The
student may be at home, a friend's house, a relative's house, at work, or
at any other place than at school.
